Principal consultant and co-founder, Greg Ranstrom, is based in Bend, Oregon. He has extensive experience in consultation, design and facilitation of organization effectiveness solutions. Greg’s interest lies in cross-boundary collaboration. He is a practioner of social network analysis and he thrives on helping management teams break through dysfunction. Greg currently manages the American Leadership Forum-Silicon Valley Fellows Program. Prior positions include program director for Compass Outdoor Pursuits, Camden, Maine; outdoor-learning consultant for Exxon Chemical Company; associate director of the Princeton Education Center; and volunteer court mediator. His master's degree in management is from John F. Kennedy University/NTL Institute, Walnut Creek, California, and his bachelor's degrees are from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Based in Eugene, Oregon, Kelly co-founded Outside Insights. He draws on more than thirty years of experience in outdoor experiential education, business administration, and as a safety skills trainer. He previously served as director of Compass Outdoor Pursuits, Camden, Maine; outdoor-learning consultant for Exxon Chemical Company; aquatic supervisor for Eugene, Oregon Parks & Recreation Department; and wilderness river guide. He holds a bachelor's degree in recreation and park management with a concentration in outdoor education and program supervision from the University of Oregon.

Strong background providing team-building and leadership training
in both corporate and non-profit settings in the U.S. and Japan.
She has also trained and served as an educator and leader of wilderness
expeditions in remote areas of East Africa. Founder of Learn By
Doing, she lives in Bend, Oregon, where she is also a wilderness
instructor of back-county ski and ocean kayak trips. She has a master's
degree in applied behavioral science with a concentration in organizational
development from the Leadership Institute of Seattle, Washington,
has studied Strategic Planning at the Institute of Cultural Affairs
in Seattle, and is a certified mediator.
