Greg Ranstrom presented "Lessons Learned Using Social Network Tools for Team Development" in Portland , Oregon on January 10, 2007 for the Organization Development Network Oregon (ODN-Oregon). Hot off the press! “Profitable Collaboration: Why Team Building is a Waste of Time”. Outside Insights will lead the American Leadership Forum – Silicon Valley “Wilderness Outside Insights has been chosen to lead the 2007 American Leadership Forum wilderness retreat for leaders of the Texas Medical Center (TMC). Senior leaders of TMC’s 40 member institutions, including two medical schools, four schools of nursing, thirteen renowned hospitals and two specialty institutions, will participate in a year-long program designed to join and strengthen diverse leaders to better serve the public good. Outside Insights was chosen to lead the American Leadership Forum “Taking Stock” retreat for leaders of the Texas Medical Center (TMC). Greg Ranstrom led this retreat designed to aid leader’s assessment of the difference they will choose to make in the Medical Center community and beyond. Greg Ranstrom presented "Building Teams One Relationship at a Time, Using Social Network Analysis" in San Francisco and in Sacramento on July 12, 2006 for the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and the Organization Development Network (ODN). Greg Ranstrom presented "Maximize" on May 1, 2006 for the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) Golden Gate Chapter. Outside Insights recently developed a custom, 3-day, kayaking team adventure to serve a Los Angeles-based client. Each Outside Insights team adventure is different because every team is different. Once we understand the development goals for the team and the boundaries (budget, time, degree of adventure, etc.), we design the best possible learning experience. This wilderness kayaking experience on a flat water section of the Colorado river is but one example of the creative possibilities. |
